Afternoon Folks!!
We are less than 24 hours away from what could be an important moment in domaining as Frank and I will go toe to toe tomorrow. Is that a headlock Frank has me in below from earlier today?
All kidding aside, should be great banter as we agree on many things but see some of those things completely differently.
11:30AM tomorrow.

CHAMPIONS always want to win! It’s in their blood so it’s not about the money! Both of you want the TITLE and everyone knows in this industry at the moment you are both the best heavyweights.
Both of you are going to profit from this and I hope you both do
STAREDOWN before the biggest event in domaining history.

Hello Rick,
My Business Intuition is telling me that a lot of International ISPs will join in and block , .whatevers from resolving. BACKLASH
Leaving already Grandfathered and accepted .COMs resolving. JAS 10/20/13

My money is on Rick

Keep away from the ropes!

My money is on both, both are correct because there are so many angles, some of which favour either view.
To get the most out of the discussion I’d suggest specific topics
Like 1) Are these TLDs good domainer investments relative to established TLDs? 2) Who are these TLDs good investments for? Registries? 3) Are these TLDs likely to displace .com in the commercial space. 4) Where do you think any displacement will occur in the non commercial or highly marketing space?
Otherwise the registries fronting this discussion will just argue all the positive elements and Rick will say why they won’t impact the commercial space… and as such the discussion will no confront detailed aspects.

Hello Rick,
One thing is certain in my opinion. The domainers who don’t own .COMs will be bigger and bigger losers as time frames stretch from here. JAS 10/20/13

Although I am not a professional predictor, I can predict that the title match will end up with no winner or loser, with the final word “harmony”.

Hello Rick,
Just remember, that because of the close to 20 year consecutive first mover advantage created by the major .COM market leaders. The .COM brand has been established firmly, as the International Brand of choice.
This Fundamental Technological Leadership position of the .COM Brand will not be bested by .whatevers, regardless of the frenzied velocity of Marketing Hype we are now experiencing. JAS 10/20/13

Does ICANN know about domain names?
A smart aleck would probably respond by saying “Is the pope catholic”?
Now, ICANN registered ICANN.com, .net, and .org but not .CO
Why?
If I ran .CO I would have sleepless nights over it. They are basically saying, you can have icann.co but don’t touch our .com, net, and .org. Just saying…
Imagine then .whatever. Use this point against schilling, Schwartz. Don’t treat him like “Frankie”, because .Com is riding on your shoulders. Don’t be nice!

Who is this domain broker in the Cayman islands spamming people?
Michael Harrington
Domain Broker | Nameless LLC

Address: Nameless LLC,

See, this is in contravention of US law and against ICANN rules, this apparent scraping of new registration whois to solicit buyers for near names they own breaches certain laws and rules, these would especially apply to those seeking to gain registrar status.

Hello Market Grifters,
The frenzied notion that .whatevers will somehow vicariously adopt the .COM Status, is a self serving farce of Epic Proportion. This self serving propoganda, will cause many Gullible Investors considerable financial loss. Enjoy it while the illusion lasts. JAS 10/21/13
