Some people don't like talking about results. Don't like to measure results. Don't take the time to see if there was a good result or a bad result. And of course many are busy excusing results and therefore all their energy is consumed by that.
For all the work effort and talk it all boils down to results vs no results. Even a failure should produce real and tangible results you can use. Matter of fact those results are often the most important and the most overlooked and ignored. I study 2 things. Success and failure. Hopefully I can change a variable of failure to produce a success. A success is simply a step forward. A failure can often be a LEAP forward or a complete collapse. Depends what you do with it. Or if you fear it. Or took the time to see if there was a good result or a bad result before proceeding with the next decision.
That's the 1 over 2.
Results vs No Results. No result is the only pure failure. And even that is not a pure failure if you eliminate something or learn something.

And of course you have those that ignore results. Excuse results. Put lipstick on results. They can't handle the reality of results. So they forget about results and that results in failure at every level for all time. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day and for many that is enough to claim victory.
One moves forward all the time and takes the slings and arrows of progress and one moves in a circle all the time. The path is by choice. Those that are scared to fail are also those that are scared to succeed and they spend a lifetime stuck in that circle. Many slinging their arrows towards those moving forward.

The biggest things in business I have learned is from actually participating in it. You can get the best business degree in the world but true business only happens when sales are made and not how they are theoretically made.
Being good in business and being good at ‘domains’ is one and the same. Its the same learning curve. Just depends how smart/astute and determined you are to get all the way along that curve.
Failure is always a learning exercise because normally you failed for some reason that you hadn’t considered or under estimated or simply miscalulated. It can be a random thing as well, just how you throw the dice and how many times you are prepared to roll it.
